Welcome to tiama.page. These Terms of Service are an agreement between you (the "User") and The Traveling Twins Co., Ltd. By registering an account, creating a shop website, or using any feature of this service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
01 Acceptance of Terms
Please read these terms carefully before using the service. Once you begin using the service, you are deemed to have agreed to all of its contents. If you do not agree with any part, please stop using the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on this page and, where necessary, communicated by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
02 Service Provider and Contact
The service is operated by The Traveling Twins Co., Ltd., a company incorporated in Taiwan (company registration number 42920198) with its registered address at 7F.-5, No.329, Sec. 3, Jiankang Rd., Anping Dist., Tainan City 708, Taiwan (R.O.C.). For support or consumer complaints, contact hello@tiama.page.
03 Account and Sign-in
You may sign in using Google, Facebook, or LINE. Where a provider gives us a verified email address, we use it as the primary account identifier, and identities from different providers that return the same address may be linked to the same tiama.page account. Some providers do not return an email address (for example accounts registered with a phone number); your account then has none, and you then need to supply a contact email address yourself before you can receive notifications or upgrade to a paid plan. Your contact email address defaults to the one your sign-in provider gave us and you may change it at any time; a change takes effect only after you confirm it from a verification email. The contact address is used only for notifications and payment documents, never to link accounts.
The service is for people aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you use the service for a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to act for it. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in devices and credentials.
By using this service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, correct, and up-to-date business information.
- Not impersonate another person or business.
- Notify us immediately upon discovering any unauthorised use of your account.
04 Service and Plans
tiama.page provides business-data import, draft creation, AI-assisted copy, public shop websites, and related management features. The features, website limits, and refresh allowances shown on the plan and checkout pages when you subscribe form part of your agreement with us.
The Free plan and each paid plan (currently Solo and Pro) may have different limits. If paid access ends or you move to a plan with a lower website limit, shop websites above the current plan limit may be unpublished, while their data remains subject to the Privacy Policy and account status.
05 Subscriptions, Payment, and Cancellation
Paid plans (currently Solo and Pro) are recurring subscriptions. The actual price, currency, taxes, billing period, and payment methods are displayed on the plan page and in the third-party payment service's checkout. Completing checkout confirms your agreement to those transaction details and recurring charges.
You may switch paid plan or billing period from the billing page. A switch takes effect immediately, and the payment service pro-rates the difference: moving to a higher-priced plan or period charges the difference straight away, while moving to a lower-priced one credits the difference to your account balance against later charges rather than returning it to your payment method. The billing page shows the payment service's estimate before you confirm; the amount the payment service settles is final.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment service as an authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Purchases are also governed by the buyer terms and refund policy presented at checkout. The payment service handles payment instruments, taxes, receipts or invoices, and refunds that it is legally responsible for.
Your subscription automatically renews for the same billing period until cancelled. You may cancel from the billing page; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current period, with paid-plan access continuing until then. You may resume where offered. Account deletion is not self-service at the moment: email hello@tiama.page to request it. We confirm that any active third-party payment subscription has been cancelled before deleting the account, so that billing cannot continue after the account is gone.
Cancelling does not pro-rate the current period. The amount already paid covers the full billing period, and paid-plan access continues until that period ends. If the charge is less than 14 days old, you can still request a full refund under the Refund Policy below.
06 Refund Policy
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any charge. No reason is needed, there are no conditions or exceptions, and no questions are asked — including where you have already used paid-plan features during those 14 days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
To request one, contact the payment service's buyer support or email hello@tiama.page from the address used at checkout. The payment service acts as Merchant of Record and processes the refund; its buyer terms and 14-day refund policy apply to every purchase alongside these terms.
After those 14 days, a billing period that has already started is not refunded or pro-rated. Cancel from the billing page to stop future renewals, and paid-plan access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Nothing in this section limits consumer rights you hold under mandatory law where you live, including any statutory right of withdrawal, and it does not affect any refund or chargeback the payment service makes under its own rules.
07 Your Content and Shop Website
Text, images, and other material that you create or are lawfully authorised to use ("User Content") remain owned by you or the original rights holder.
To operate, maintain, and improve the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, cache, back up, reproduce, resize or reformat, transmit, and publicly display User Content, and to allow our processors to do so for the same purposes. The licence ends when the content or account is deleted, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law or dispute handling.
You are responsible for ensuring that you may provide, use, and publish the content and that it does not infringe copyright, trade marks, publicity, privacy, data-protection, or other third-party rights.
08 Our Intellectual Property and Your Licence
The service itself — including the software, source code, interface design, templates and page structures, design system, workflows, AI prompts, and related documentation — and all intellectual property in it belong to The Traveling Twins Co., Ltd. or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other laws.
While you comply with these terms and your plan is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use the service and the website content it produces for your own business, or for a business you are authorised to represent. No rights transfer to you other than those these terms expressly grant.
The "tiama.page" name, logo, and other brand elements are ours and may not be used without our prior written consent, except for any service badge that your plan requires a free shop website to display.
09 Google Maps and Third-party Data
When you use an import feature by searching for and selecting a business or providing a Google Maps business link, the service may use Google, Google Maps, or other data services to organise publicly available information, reviews, and images for that business. Rights in third-party content remain with the original rights holders and do not transfer to you or us when imported.
You represent that you own or operate the business, or are authorised to manage and publish content on its behalf.
You may select only third-party content that you are authorised to use and publish, and must follow the source service's terms, attribution, linking, and other requirements. We may remove or unpublish content, or request proof of rights, following a rights-holder notice, third-party policy, legal obligation, or risk review.
10 AI-assisted Features
The copywriting feature sends necessary business details, services, and review content to AI service and model providers to produce an editable draft. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to third-party material and is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
You must review factual accuracy, rights, and legal compliance before publication. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal data that you are not authorised to process. You are responsible for the content you ultimately publish and how you use it.
11 Public Shop Websites
Once published, a shop website is available to anyone through a public subdomain and may be indexed, cached, or shared by search engines and third parties. Public content may include the business name, address, telephone number, opening hours, services and prices, external links, reviewer names, ratings and review text, and images.
Do not publish private or sensitive data that is unnecessary for operating the business. Unpublishing stops tiama.page from continuing to display the website but cannot ensure that search engines or other third parties immediately remove copies they already hold.
12 Acceptable Use
When using this service, you may not:
- Post content that is illegal, false, misleading, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system.
- Use the service for spam, fraud, or other improper commercial purposes.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or bulk-extract the content and data of the service, resell or sublicense it, or build a competing product on the basis of it.
- Circumvent plan limits, website or import allowances, feature restrictions, or other technical controls.
- Share an account or sign-in credentials with anyone else. One account is for one person, unless a team or agency arrangement says otherwise.
- Misrepresent your identity, your authority, the business, or your relationship to a business listing.
- Present customer sentiment, review history, or business performance in a misleading way — for example by altering or fabricating review text, changing ratings or review counts, or otherwise making the overall picture inconsistent with the facts. You remain free to choose which reviews a shop website displays.
13 Third-party Services
Some features depend on Google, Facebook, LINE, Google Maps, and third-party payment, AI, model, data, hosting, object-storage, email, analytics, and error-monitoring services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply, and their availability, data, and policies may change.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for third-party outages, incorrect third-party content, or independent third-party data practices, but this does not exclude any responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.
14 Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the account within reasonable limits.
We may investigate complaints and reported violations and act on what we find, by restricting features, suspending the account, terminating the service, or removing content, and may report suspected unlawful activity to the authorities where the law provides for it. Any investigation and measure goes no further than the purpose requires.
After termination, your shop website will no longer be publicly accessible. Retention and deletion of related records, media, backups, and billing data are governed by the Privacy Policy. If we discontinue a material part of the service, we will provide notice or a reasonable data-retrieval period where practicable.
15 Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully meet your specific needs.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or NT$1,000. This cap does not apply to liability that mandatory law does not allow us to limit, including damage caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and consumer rights that cannot be waived in advance.
16 Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for the losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) we incur from a third-party claim, action, or demand arising out of:
- the way you use the service;
- the content you provide, import, select, or publish;
- your breach of these terms;
- your infringement of third-party rights or breach of applicable law.
We will notify you within a reasonable time of becoming aware of such a claim and will not settle it without your agreement. This clause does not cover what is attributable to us, and it does not exclude or limit consumer rights that mandatory law does not allow to be waived in advance.
17 General Terms
Severability: if any provision of these terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision is narrowed or severed only as far as necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
Assignment: you may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these terms to an affiliate or successor in a reorganisation, merger, or transfer of assets; an assignment may not reduce the rights you already hold, and we will give notice where reasonably practicable.
Waiver: a failure or delay in exercising a right under these terms is not a waiver of that right, and waiving it once does not waive it in other circumstances.
Taxes: whether a displayed price includes tax is shown at checkout. Sales tax, value-added tax, use tax, withholding tax, and other taxes or levies that any jurisdiction imposes because of your use of the service are your responsibility, unless the law provides otherwise or checkout says otherwise.
Force majeure: neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform under these terms caused by events beyond its reasonable control — natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic, war, riot, strike, government action, network or power outage, or an upstream provider outage — for as long as the obstacle lasts. This does not affect payment obligations or a refund required by law.
Entire agreement and survival: these terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the transaction details disclosed at checkout, are the entire agreement between us about the service and replace earlier oral or written arrangements. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination — intellectual property, indemnity, disclaimer and limitation of liability, governing law, and this section — survive termination.
18 Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Please first contact hello@tiama.page so the parties can try to resolve a dispute in good faith. Court jurisdiction is determined by applicable law, and these terms do not remove a consumer's right to use any court available under mandatory law.
The Traditional Chinese version of these terms prevails. Other language versions are provided for convenience, and where they differ the Traditional Chinese version governs. This does not affect any right you have under mandatory law to receive key contract information in your own language.
19 Contact Us
